I felt really sorry for nedved in the end. Players of his calibre shouldn’t go out in the first round.
But it was great to see all the italian players shaking hands and hugging Nedved after the final whistle. Not only the Juve players, but also the AC Milan players :k:

The next match he can play is the Final if Italy makes it that far.
Italian football chief said De Rossi deserved this punishment and that they won't appeal. The original ban was for 5 but reduced to 4 after FIFA received an apology letter from De Rossi.

wish I could agree with you, but I can’t. Now that they are out, world-class commentators such as shep “OOOHHH BAAABYYY” messing and dave “I hate iran” o’brien will be talking about what went wrong with the great american team and how referees screwed them.
Infact, don’t be surprised if during the final of the world cup, the world-class american commentators choose to give their world-class analysis as to why they think landon donovan is the best player in the world.

^ LOL this is why i have started watching the games on univision. Them spanish comentators have much more enthusiasm and love for the game.
