I am not a Saviola fan either but he played really well yesterday and didnt let Arg miss Messi or Tevez. I still hope to see Messi creating havoc in coming games.

This should be a difficult game for the dutch, S&M came through their qualifying group with ease, conceding just the one goal, they're very hard to break down, as for the dutch it's always great to see them play, from all the countries from EU participating in the WC, they're the only team that play the game as it should be played, just like the brazilians, Ruud my fave player to score, my prediction a 1-1 draw.

Half time, the netherlands lead with a goal by Robben, Serbia need to up their work rate and be more adventorous, they're sitting back and allowing the dutch to play thier passing game.

Two thirds of the game gone, the dutch look comfortable, still not much adventure being shown by the serbs with no real support coming from midfield to support the front men.

Robben was awesome, a constant menace to Serbia, who themselves didn't look too bad. This group is turning into a real fight.

Hol-Ser match was boring! I'm not impressed by the dutch at all. I had expected a lot more. dutch dude A was invisible the second half, Dutch Dude B was rightly taken off and Dutch Dude C?!
I had a lot more fun watching the Grass grow taller yesterday hell even watching the water boil is more exciting. Holland is going to have a tough time keeping audience awake.
They barely beat a pathetic team.

Congratulations to Netherlands, without quesiton the superior team on the field and deserving of the 3 pts.
I was disappointed in the way Serbia-Montenegro approached the game. They did not try to compete in the midfield, and their creativity was really poor in the offensive 1/3 of the field. I did not like how the trainer took Koroman out of the starting lineup to play 2 defensive mids. Once Ogjnen came into the match, Serbia was able to string together some opportunities in the Dutch area.
I thought SCG played a good defensive game, and the goal was a result of superior vision by the Dutch to spur that quick counterattack. It was a great goal. But overall, I was really happy with how the defense played.
Though Robben is a wild man on the field, he was everywhere on this day. His teammates who are complaining about him should stfu because he carried the team on this day. Robben and Shaka Hislop have had the two most impressive individual performances thus far in the WC.
