This probably is one of the more interesting matches in the second round.

It will be interesting to see if the French can take their narrow escape as a turnaround.
spain have played good football so far and are on a high.

however, I give France the benefit of the doubt and predict them to advance (also because Zidane has had some extra rest before this match)

This is going to be an awesome match. Potent attacks. Naturally, wanting Spain to win, I saw glimpses of an on form France against Togo, so its fixing up to be an even match.

As disappointing as France was in group play - this is just an unlucky draw for Spain in the 2nd Round.

kiya gadha punn hai. Why it had to be S.A vs S.A and Europe vs Europe in pre QF. :(

First Argentina vs Mexico, then Portugal vs Holland now France vs Spain. Thanks God for one odd match, Brazil vs Ghana :D

There are too many good European teams so it had to happen. ARG Vs Mexico was just ittefaq. :D

I felt sad when Australia lost.. they played bravely and then in the end their dream was ruined by a solitary penalty goal.

Nes: What did Trezeguet do in last match apart from wasting golden oppurtunites to score? France won last time only when they started ignoring Trez and moved viera and henry further forward :smiley:

ESPN’s expert analyst suggest that France will win this game and is supposed to win this game cos they have a history of doing well in the WC and Spain doesnt :rolleyes:
