Is it catching on already? I dont know but for some reason im really not that excited… not yet anyway. Ever since ive got into watching Test cricket with real interest a few years ago, ODIs have just stopped turning me on. They seem like a sorry excuse for cricket.. and are used mainly as a source of quick income. Its like cricket’s respectable day job is Tests and then the quick buck making night job is ODIs.
Anybody else feel the same way? And its gonna suck not having anymore test cricket till May !
There is still time. Wait till Pak smacks SA in the ODI's (yea rite!) and then you will be thrilled right back into the WC spirit. To get excited about World Cup, you have to root for a team to win, and want to want it really bad... so come on, join the party! Nag your Indian neighbor. Taunt the Jamaican who delivers your milk. Poke fun at the English guy who smirks at you every morning. Oh, and please don't take panga with any Australian. That, even I won't recommend. Everyone else is fair game.
Wah kia motivational speech haiy. Lekin dum nahi haiy I dont know any Jamaican English Saffie or Australian. The ones i know arent that cricket crazy. Haan i do know a few Indians.. un kee to waisay hee chaltay phirtay letay rehtay hain
I am sure if the same WC was being played in Aus or England, I would have been so excited. But West Indies??? cricket in WI may be good for the folks in the stadium but it sux on TV. I love cricket coverage and stadia of Eng and Aus.
maybe one of the reasons is that there are no SUPERSTARS …
aaj kal ki teams look more like the galli kay chichooray laRkay…
no character - just commercialized puppets
gone are the days when there were larger than life personalities in cricket
:hinna:
...not excited about world cup at all, in fact not that excited about cricket *anymore. After years of watching '*night' time cricket, it would be nice to see matches in the day time other than that, nothing special.
