I wasnt impressed with Tricolores 0-0 draw with the Angola. And vs. the stronger Protugal they lost 2-1 after missing clear oppurtunities to tie the game including the missed penalty kick by Bravo.
Argentina are one of the contenders of WC and look pretty strong offensively. (barring the draw vs. Holland yesterday)
Prediiction: ARG advances to 1/4 finals.

This won’t be an easy game for Argentina as many think. Despite the players Argentina has are superior, coaches know each other’s way and tactics. Argentina and Mexico have played in the Copa America,Confederations Cup, and a couple of friend games here and there. Argentina has to go into this game thinking that this is a final and do not underestimate their opponent. I think that’s exactly what Pekerman has in mind and so do the players. They have worked to hard to get here and to put behind what happened in WC 2002.
Should be interesting. I predict a tight match. When Mexico faced in Confed Cup, they had to go to penalties to decide the match, and it was unlucky for Mexico. But this time, their team is also more solid, even though, they haven’t look good so I still think Argentina has the edge.
Maradona will be in the house, like always!

Its my fav team along with Portugal. So I hope for the best for Argentina. But we know Mexico are not kidz, they have brought the best team in decades, its just that they have failed to fire in all cylinders. Its gonna be the most thrilling match of the second round.

The mexicans have taken over our little sleepy town in central Germany. There is more mexican flags than German flags here. The mexican team is staying in our town together with thousands of mexican supporters.
We will surely miss Mexico. I think thats it for the mexicans then.:)

Argentina have played the best approach play of the world cup thus far and should emerge victoriuos from this one as well.
