he should have brought Murali early somewhere near 10th or 12th overs...thus could have prevented those runs, which Smith already scored easily.

I agree. This serving Smith with tee and coffee is not on. If the man can't take the heat, why did he not bring his own water on his back with him?

Logically thinking, Smith has liberty to keep a bottle handy somewhere near Umpire, if he is getting so much exhausted by thirst.

My contention is that if you start a match with a semi-fit batsman, you should not expect any mercy. Anyway, now Smith can drink to his heart contend, being out!
Kallis' strike rate much better than against Aussies.
