Since I work in a fairly formal environment but we do not have any uniform or specific dress code, I still try my best to organize the wardrobe over the weekend for rest of the week. It gets easier and less hectic than getting out of the bed thinking what to wear in the morning. Sometimes I plan night before and there are some days when I just wear whatever I find. Moreover, it depends on the weather too.

Do you plan outfits a week in advance?
I don't plan them a week in advance, if it's for an occasion such as a wedding then I plan a few months in advance lol. Otherwise for work/uni I iron all my clothes that I normally wear on one designated day, then depending on the weather and my mood I pick out what outfit to wear.
No, I don't plan outfits a week in advance. Most days I wear sheath dresses with a blazer. I also have suits. Most of my work clothes/shoes coordinate easily and don't require much planning.
Yeah so I will iron them on the weekend and then decide what to wear in the morning.
On a side note - Does everyone wear a new set of pants and top everyday or do you repeat them at all. Like can you do the same outfit two days in a row.

Does this work for men also.
TIA
I definitely repeat them! Usually keep the bottoms the same(for about 2/3 days change the top and accessories

Personally, I don't repeat the same tops or bottoms in the same week, and definitely never two/three days in a row. That being said, I know of people who wear uniforms or who are expected to adhere to a dress code and will rotate through the same wardrobe, because that's expected - so maybe it's more a function of your work environment.

I never repeat the same top or bottom in the same week. I have enough pieces where this is unnecessary.
there is this older guy at my office. he picks his outfits and wears the same pants/shirt the entire week! lol, and its not like its black pants or khakhis with a white or plain shirt. its red pants with a red plaid shirt or orange pants with an orangish shirt, etc etc.

Haha not for a wedding. Some jobs involve travelling for people and they have really busy schedule that's why they organise clothing in advance.

I do repeat bottoms sometimes but never repeat tops. I try not to wear the same clothes in same week.
I think I'm gonna be missing my uniforms. Just pull any of the six shirts out of the closet. It doesn't matter which one you pull out because they're all the same. Pants were the same way.
With the new job I actually have to think before I pull something out. I'm good for next week since it's a four day work week but I have to go shopping after that since I don't have enough clothes for work. It's not that bad though since I can get away with a Polo and khaki. They come cheap.
I have a semi uniform system at work. We are allowed to wear any color and style so long as it's professional wear and bears the logo of the company. I have dress pants and I feel I need to buy a couple more. I have fitted collar shirts from Express and New York & Company; the latter has better prices. I never plan a week in advance. It's always either the night or weekend before or the morning of.
I try to have my 3 workpants for a 5 day week out and because I wear tunics and blouses that are monotone I dont have to worry much about whether it will and wont match.
i always have a scarf around my neck so thats about the most coordination / thinking in the morning I do is which scarf will match.
also, i keep all my heels at work so I’m running out the door in flip flops
