This is a request for Pakistani people in The Netherlands to participate in 2 workshops in Amsterdam on May 18 and May 25 both starting at 6 p.m. The workshops will be held as a research for a campaign that Oxfam Novib will set up in Pakistan with the aim to reduce the number of deaths during labour amongst young women.
In this phase of the campaign we are developing the b-r-a-n-d-i-n-g (i don’t know why this word is being censored). The purpose of these workshops is to pre-investigate what would be the best way to approach this theme. We therefore need your help! You can help us by participating in both or one of the workshops that we organize during the next few weeks on May 18 and May 25.
The workshop held on May 18th has the aim to discuss with the help of imagery how to approach the subject and who to address within Pakistani society. During the second workshop we will test the first results of the b-r-a-n-d-i-n-g which will be developed by us during week after the first workshop.
Our organization is called Butterfly Works (www.butterflyworks.org). We have experience in developing curricula on Sexual Reproductive Health in close cooperation with local organization in for example Nigeria (www.learningaboutliving.org) and Senegal (www.clickinfoado.sn). The workshop will take place at our office in Amsterdam, which is 10 minutes away from the Central Station:
