when i went to my experimental farm with my boss and i accidentally locked ourselves out of the car. we had to wait for almost an hour for the tow truck. she had a very important meeting back at the university. she didn't say anything but i could see she wasn't very happy about this wholr thing. now, whenever i go with her anywhere i carry my extra set of keys :)

I fall asleep sometimes, no biggie. Worst thing would be me (when I used to work part time) slacking behind the counter surfing the web instead of being out on the shop floor with the customers, topped with the Area Manager observing from outside the store. I got a verbal warning.

I think it depends. I believe that if things really too bad and you’re upset and/or stressed about something but are not able to stay home, its okay to go to the restroom for a sniffle.
But in this case (in short, to use it as a manipulation tool to get out of trouble and make the other person look bad)

It’s unprofessional, makes the rest of working women look very bad, so its selfish and manipulative and smacks of bad character. IMO.

The worst thing that happened at my workplace was a member of staff storming into the managers meeting and beating up one of the managers, turns out she had been sleeping with the girls boyfriend who also worked there. Honestly that place was some hotbed of depravity.

Sara, I agree , that is definitely bad behaviour.
One of the other things that I just hate and has happened to me occasionally.. you know when you are using outlook, it automatically fills the name in the “TO” bit , when sending an email, if you type the first alphabet of the name… I have managed to send wrong stuff to my manager a few times
… stuff that he shouldnt have seen ![]()
