I have some questions regarding my workout, I hope someone can help me.
I’m working out, cycling on a stationary cycle 10-15kms daily, that takes me almost 45mins and I try to increase the intensity for a while then slow down a bit and then do it again.
I’d like to know what else should I combine with it to make it all more beneficial for me? And achieve results faster, (I have a wedding coming up, I hope I can flatten my tummy untill then!)
I want to shed some pounds too but basically I want to get fit and in a shape, and increase my stamina. I guess pounds will come off automatically if I keep working out. I’d like to work on my arms and belly first, any vid suggestions for those? Sorry I’m not familiar with terms like planks crunches etc and whenever I search youtube lots of them come up and I get confused so show me a particualar video so I can simply follow it inshaAllah.
Oh and there’s another question I’d like to ask from you guppies, here I hear a lot of women tell an exercise for flattening belly, wanted to know if its a myth or is it really something that works? Exercise is basically you have to stand up straight and then try to touch your feet wo bending knees, as many time as you can, for example 100 times. Does it work?
keep following your healthy diet..coz at the end of the day what you eat is going to shape your body eventually. Anyhow, i would suggest you do aerobics at gym. Something where you can shed extra weight out. Unfortunately stationary cycle won't do much favour on your body.
Waleeja, if you want a work out DVD look into JM 30 day shred. All you need is the DVD itself and a pair of dumb bells (you can start with as low as 3lbs each).

The problem is I can't join a gym as its more than 30mins drive away and i can't fit an extra 60min drive in my schedule currently. Can you explain the reasoning behind stationary cycle? I thought its a great work out especially to tone legs :s
