Workout routines

Couldn’t find a thread on this so I started this one.

Who works out on a daily basis?

I am starting again for 3rd time (im flippin lazy)

So question is:
is it better to train 3x a week (full body workouts each day) vs. 5x a week different muscle groups..etc

I am around 150lbs, 5’9.

Re: Workout routines

ahh..i wish i could! umm it depends on wht type of workout u prefer..i would prefer 5 times a week with different muscle groups!

Re: Workout routines

dont follow my routine, its good for nothing..its 7 days a week, cardio every OTHER day, weights on days when not doing cardios.

cardio: jogging.. now that its getting cold and snowy, treadmill.. 40 to 50 minutes sessions, 5.2 to 5.5mph, 3.0escalation

weights: opposite muscle sets.. if u REALLY want, do legs..(i dont, cuz i'm sticking to running in my cardio, its high-impact enough to kill me)

im 5'9-5'10, 165lbs and increasing 1-2 every month (goal is get to 185ish) with either same fat or less..

for u, i will recommend 4 alternate days during week (obviously that becomes 3 workout sessions one week and 4 sessions next week) giving urself 1 day in middle of no workout, just healing/feeling lazy. and different muscle groups..

build muscle, its cold so dont worry about cardio.. u will have ALL april+may to work on your cuts.. get buff, develop cuts later..

Re: Workout routines

I train between 3 and 5 times a week. It's better to workout by alternating parts of your body per day. Unfortunately, due to my schedule, I have no choice but to do full body workouts.

Re: Workout routines

Thanks guys, appreciate it.

For now I will be starting this routine tonight:

Full body workout 3x a week. Monday - Wednesday - Friday Doing warm up treadmill 15 mins @ 5.0. Full body workout in less than 50 minutes (very intensive).
1hr Cardio + Abs on Saturday and Sunday

Tueday, thursdays relaxing.

Will post results every 2 weeks.

Re: Workout routines

i've been lifting for the past 1 and half year and dude......u gotttttta see the muscle improvement i made in that 1.5 years.. well i workout 4-5 days and try to target all upper, lower body's muscles. However, the days i rest i eat a lottt!!... basically i try to eat more than 120g of protein a day with healthy fat and carbs. Remember....you are what u eat... u will not see significant results if ur diet isnt correct. And if u have pushed ur body to its limit.. the best reward ur body can get is the protein powder..( known as shakes ). So do try those as well..... if u're lean and wanna gain weight..... and if its the opposite dont try them.

ill post my workout routine later...
