WorkOut QueStion

Salaam all.
I’ve been working out extensively.. we’re talking an hour and half daily.
The results show in a more scultped bod but the wieght machine is moving the wrong the way. I know I know muscle ways more then fat blah blah …

but Im round to begin with I dont want so much muscle that i look meaner then Salman.. :hehe:
how do I continue building shape but loose the fat and the bulkiness before its too late?

my workout consists of treadmilling for 2-2.5 miles
and traditional workout likes sit ups, and free wieght lifting.

You should try measuring yourself instead of weighing yourself for a more accurate guide.

As for workout, what you're doing at the moment seems fine - maybe do a little more cardio on the treadmill/rower as this will help more with burning fat and less with gaining muscle (which is what you want, isn't it?)

P.S. persoanlly, I think you're doing too much exercise at the moment - try dropping a couple of days.

Re: WorkOut QueStion

wow! I am impressed!! :k:

1 word - Cardio!

good luck :D

You're working out (dare I say) too much for someone who just wants to lose weight and tone up. Take one or two rest days if you can during the week. Ease up on the weights, try doing them on alternate workouts rather than every single workout. And if you're not looking to bulk up then do more reps on a low weight rather than vice versa.

Well done on the progress so far though.

will do.. thanku all.

Lezza, my advice was almost identical to yours  To think I was a gym novice up until a few months ago

Do you want me to become your persoanl trainer, cuz I’m dead good at all this exercise malarky now!

Slaggy, depends on what kind workout you got planned for us.

Pelvic floor exercises to start (and boy do you need them :p ) ...

hey muniya.... im in the same boat but i havent touched the weights region at all.. ive jsut been doing 5 hours of cardio (alternating between cross trainer, treadmill, bike and rower).. a friend told me to lose the fat, u should prob do cardio for 2-3 months then head for the weights... i hate muscle!!!
