working women’s kids are also more likely to do better in life.

kids whose mothers worked when they were younger than 3 were later rated as higher-achieving by teachers and had fewer problems with depression and anxiety.

not a bad trade-off for a few extra runny-noses…

I wonder if having less problems with depression and anxiety can be attributed to the fact that having two working parents as opposed to one would mean higher income/better lifestyles. They would also be able to afford better educations/tutors etc., who would contribute to the higher grades and test scores.
