Re: Working women
Yes its not compulsory in Islam and its responsibility of men to take care of their parents. We also know that women are not even required to do things for thier husbands as a religious duty.
Considering our Indo-Pak society, joint family system has served the families with lesser sources of income for centuries and as pointed by you it does facilitate working women.
Having said the above, why do these women wish that their brothers follow the joint family system?
