Well, it’s rather embarassing, so I’ll cut a long story short…
Basically, I was really clumsy. I did some really stupid things and got all nervous over nothing. Some of my friends worked there too, so we used to goof off often. One time I was scooping out some M&Ms from the McFlurry machine and my manager decided to come in at that very moment. 
We used to call my manager “DA BOSS MAN” and he’d get really pissed off :D. He had to repeatedly tell me to keep my shirt tucked in because it looked unprofessional and whatnot 
.
One time I got caught telling someone on the drive thru intercom not to buy one of the combos because it was a total rip off.
On top of all that, I’d often come in for my shift late (like 15-20 minutes). My brother had to drive me and he was always slacking (I like to blame it on him to make myself feel better).
Yea so it’s not something I’m particularly proud of…being fired from McDonald’s…I mean that’s real lame. But, I’m positive that if I really took a job seriously and was actually interested in something, then I’d honestly do a great job :).

i dunt wrk...but i used to.....as a telemarketer n part time..this wus during summer holidays...so i ditn rly have to wry abt studies n all...n it dint really affect my social life or family life...only that if there was ever a party or sumthin...n it wus durin wen i wus wrkin then i wdnt b able to go..but that rarley happnd...n im thinkin of startin wrk agen..but i dun now how itd turn out cus skool has started...but i dnt think part time wud make any difference:D

shortly after, i gto a job at the college bookstore. Employees got a 20 % discount and i quit the same day i bought my books. luckily teh manager i’d spoken to wasn’t there to c me do that

r u kidding me sara?? that was the only reason u applied for a job there...not that its a weird reason..but infact i would never think of this idea!
i m looking for a job at a bookstore..or library or sumthing like that..its a peaceful place to work..and have to deal with no dirty stuff!
But no one wants to hire ppl under 18 so i'll wait!

can paki---it really depends on what classes r u taking and what yr r u in ur highskool!..its worth it if u can manage ur studies..really..! unless u dont have to worry about paying for ur stuff!

Actually no i dint apply just so i could get a discount, i really did plan on staying there fora few weeks. But i was there for two days and I just got really sick of it (had to wake up at 6 AM, annoying customers, work 8 hrs w/ 1/2 hr break, etc) plus i wanted to take it easy this semester (whicH i did :p) so I quit after 2 days :p

6 am is earLy..i wouldnt like it either..specially since i m not a morning person..and 8 hrs everyday is a lot too..and only wid 1/2 hr break..damn that sucks!..
I think u made a gud decision!
since i m not attending college this semester i wnted to really work everyday for more than 4 hrs atleast..but my manager only puts me up for 2-3 days a week..with 5-6 hrs!..But i dont wanna quit..and its a seasonal one so prolly i'll have to leave anyways!

hi its me maryam -im new here ----emm i really agree wid sara 516 ---then we should not make small children work ----first o all we should complete aur studies ---but in many of these cases the teenagers do jobs for fulling their needs and wishes-- im working since i i hve done my inter ---at age of 17 my first job was as a montesoory helper fora year in a school then i worked as a ---primary teacher at aonother school for some 2 or three months then iwas called bck by my first school as a primary teacher again i will be now 20 years old in august now and in this whole period i recognize that ---when u start earning money ----ur need for money become more n more --n u seek for earning more n more and that is very good because ehen u start struggling frm a smaaal age ------u can get a very bright future in ur real practical life n ---step by step u get more experience in all aspects of life ---because i have gone for inetrviews at different plaxces met different kind of peple there differemnt way of judging ur self not only in teaching line but in others too now im aloso doing wedding decoration s---privately so i hve a little knowledge abt that life also n that is really different from a teacher --job ----------u have to meet different typ e of people understand their ---likings what they like ---what not to full fill theier ---demands --n ithink that is very gud for me i have a whole life left for gaining more experience

I hav done my first job i mean it was a payable intership , still i m workin for the sam Organization , i hav done my work so well :) that they hav given me a contract for 2 years and i m still workin for the sam organization as a Software Programmer :)
