Its tough and the episodes of guilt are a norm, you'll find that even a few years down the road the guilt remains.
Ive gone through it myself, even harder since Im doing it alone and donot have the liberty of having parents closeby.
You'll get used to it, in my case I have the advantage of working nights so I have my mornings free to attend school functions and soccer games.
