I meant "best" as in giving them a safe environment to grow in, safe neighbourhood... decent schooling.. things like that.
NJMasti, im so glad i dont have to worry too much about housework... we have an understanding that if we both work.. its completely A ok to not worry too much about housework and chores..
I find working actually gives you more energy at home than not working.
very difficult decision im sure, however i would look at what quality i would give my child if was a stay at home mum e.g is my day going to be all about cleaning, washing, ironing, cooking, coffee chats etc, or am i going to be spending this quality time with my child? taking them to the library, swimming, playing games etc
Having had a day at work, nothing is more refreshing than going home to see your child and giving them the attention they have missed during the day.
Also look at the financial implications this would create, if your job pays well then surely that helps with giving your child the best that you can afford.
your time at work is more structured, i find the days im at home, i have done nothing and the day is over
