I have been saying this for sometime now :)

Yet another thing I have maintained for long and Mush followers kept saying "people wanted them back". Mush took them back tried to make deal that when they assume power they'll keep him as president, so there is the "logical reasoning" you have been long looking for.
[/quote]
Your reason is completely illogical. Musharraf had no need of support from any of the jokers to stay in power. He was already elected before even election (even though he did not even needed to get elected to stay in power, as his constituency was armed forces and to stay in power as long as he wanted, he should have kept his uniform and direct command of armed forces).
Logical reason is that, American pressure was more financial than political. Turmoil in the country that was fed by propaganda by corrupt media was causing long term harm to Pakistan. Misguided Jahannumis considering themselves Jihadis were making havoc in the country with their killing of innocents and suicide bombings. Worse was that Political forces along with civil crooks, immoral journalists, media working as agents of enemies, Shaitan scholars (Ulema-e-Sue), and corrupt Judiciary in the hand of corrupt CJ Iftikhar were supporting these Jahanumies for political reasons or misguided beliefs to make life of government difficult, that was causing economical jitters.
Musharraf knowing that Pakistan biggest problem is economical, else Pakistan can stand most world pressures, did not wanted that any harm comes to Pakistan economically, so the deal was made.

And the "war" will go on and on till the "big plan" succeeds.

Big plan would succeed the day Pakistan would give up to the American agents fighting Pakistani forces in the name of Jihad and creating havoc in the country with their killings of innocents and suicide bombings in the name of Jihad.
