work-out regimes/ toning exerices?

okay, so i am all ready for resuming my workout/toning session…so i was wondering if the guppies have some really good, tried and tested, workout regimes and toning exercies that they would like to share with everybody…

P.S. People, like myself, sometimes have back problems ( i have a lower back problem so i cannot bend down a for a long time or do any lower back exericse :bummer: ) ..so please keep this in mind while posting!

Try pilates. You have to be pretty consistent. But it's effective.

Yes! i have a tried and tested workout regime.

Everyday, take some time out of your busy schedule of watching tv and posting on forums. Try to do all these tasks just 2 days/week

Mop the kichen floor, do the dishes with hands, scrub the toilet seat and bathtub, take the trash out, run up and down the stairs wiffout any reason, dance like crazy on a hip hop hit( offcource when nobody is watching)
Make the beds, knead flour-make fresh roti (rolling tones the upper biceps), stop taking elevators, park your car in the farthest parking spot, cook, clean the fridge, scrub the stove-top, vacuum the living room, put cream all over your body after taking shower, run around like a kid in the house.

Now after all this who will have energy and stamina left to run on a trademill like a robot looking outside the glass window and cursing at life and whtnot.

I used to play squash 1-2 hours a day but stopped coz it took too much time to go and comeback, then started stationary bicycle with some weight training, but i did not enjoy the bicycle, now i have started using elliptical trainer, so far i am enjoying it.

the stuff i have highlighted are all done by me but still no effects on my stupid weight:bummer: !..by the way, you wrote to put cream all over thebody after having shower, does it help in losing wiehgt :confused: ??? or are ya making fun of me:snooty: ???

well, i suffer from back ache problem which is aggravated during winter time…it specially happens when there is asudden temperature change…the lower back toughens up and some sort of tension builds up there, it stiffens up and pains a lot…have seen doc and had X-ray done but no problem is spotted..so the doc suggested to take tylenol/advil whenever the problems comes up and to sleep on a hard surface like on the flo0r or have a hot water massage…it alleviates the pain temporarily but there is no permanent relief…
plus, being my silly self:snooty: , i did back crunch a couple of times when i joined gym earlier this year..and it just worsened the back probem…you won’t believe but after doing the back crunch, i couldn’t even stand up for 5 minutes and truly struggled for climbing up and down the stairs:bummer:

yes, me too...plus toning exercises for buttocks and legs area would be appreciated as well...thanks :)

u need to loosen up those muscles first then... start with back stretches and good morning exercises... work ur way up to light dumbbel dead lifts and then romanian deadlifts. Also do core stability exercies and throw in some upper body and leg exercies like squats as you go along. But loosening up those back muscles and strenghening ur core should be top priority ... include stomach strengthening exercises with them. Did you run alot ?
