if your aunty, uncle, chacha, mama is in showbiz it shouldn't be a problem to get a break.aaj kal tv pe sirf sifarshi tola kaam kar raha hai.

Make an audition tape and send it to the channels.. u don't need any "medium" Dawn News, Hum TV, Indus all are always on the lookout for new faces and talent.

i once contacted IndusTV, they don't hire people coz IndusTV airs Private production's Plays.

Most of the private production usually cast popular stars...there are so many talented youngsters in pakistan but Private tv channels cash in on popular models and actors. I'm not saying it's impossible to get a break but its very difficult to get into showbiz without knowing anyone. there are only a few people who came into tv or film without having any prior experience or without having a reference from some friend/relative.
but then if you're supremely talented then you might get a break. so try anyway.best of luck:)
