Words matter

How you express your feeling for your relatives on different occasians like birthdays, anniversery, death ,marriage etc. through cards or in your own words?

Re: Words matter

usually i just sit in center .. and say nothing.. saying nothing is far better then words… well that’s my opinion … :chai:

Re: Words matter

with close ones u just be there with the slightly formal relations you set out reasonable dialogue. it is a horrible task though.

Its wrong. If you wont express your feelings ,nobody will know what do you want, what do you wanna say.Soo always keep expressing your thoughts.

you want me to die :hmmm:.. i wonder why.. :hmmm:

Re: Words matter

I express my feelings by actions. Any occasion, happy or sad, you will see me running around the place managing whatever I can. I normally take over the management affairs.

Re: Words matter

i show my exact gratitude and condolences acc to the occassion. either help em in decorations, food etc.

but recently there were four deaths in my family-extending family (age of 64, 80, 76, and 23) and i get to hear the most awful comments in my life.

Re: Words matter

sorry to hear that Zobs :hugz:

But yes, some people never get done with taunts. :frowning:

Re: Words matter

Birthdays & celebrations etc, I usually write out cards AND congratulate people personally :)

However, with deaths, I have this problem. I never know what to say at that moment. No matter how much I want to, I can't. So I usually try and SHOW how I feel through my actions. I help out as much as I can, console people and read Quran on their behalf etc.
