Story is not that Woolmer was involved.Issue is that Woolmer knew some player was involved therefore he was murdered.
This story also sound like far fetched.

Coaches never have any part in match fixing. Players though can effectively bring a team to its knees without anyone knowing. The speculation is someone within the team orchestrated the murder. Woolmer must of found something he shouldnf have found.
For Woolmer to match fix, he'd have to involve numerous people. For a player to match fix, he'd need only himself.

I have always maintained that it will take more than just 1 or 2 players in the team to be bought over to throw a match. I can't believe that after so much hoopla over match-fixing , players would still be willing to go for it without the fear that somebody might blow the whistle.

Just heard part of the audio of the press conference plus comments from Arun Lal and Sir Richard Hadlee. Hadlee rightfully declined ot comment saying until the news is confirmed or denied it wont be adveisable to comment on something that sensitive.

Its all pure speculation at this point, so I wouldn't want anyone to be too carried away on this at this point... however, one thing which everyone can see right now is the score card of Pak vs Ireland game. We all know that Pakistan lost that game due to poor batting by each player. Now if the match was fixed, someone had to bribe our entire top-order. How likely it is to involve 3 senior (Inzi, MoYo, Youn) and 3 junior (Malik, Hafeez, Nazir) batsmen all at the same time? I mean look at their shaklein... do they look like jawaris?

regardless of what is found out now, this matter has done a lot of damage to Pakistan cricket. Just imagine who would even want to coach Pakistan now.
