Having been a frequent reader of the Woolmer Diaries...Woolmer came across as somebody who loved his wife dearly.....
It may very well be that Mrs Woolmer and sons have a valid reason to stay back but it just seems odd to me ...that's all. There is nothing more to it.

Absolutely right. They would have detained him as a person of interest in the case. The guy had a motive more than anybody else I think.

Just because his wife did not travel to WI does not mean that she is any less devastated. maybe she thought the best way to deal with the grief was to be near her loved ones, i.e.the two sons. This way they can share each other's grief and provide comfort to each other. Also they will probably be busy preparing for his funeral arrangements. Surely at the start of this episode they did not realize the drama which was about to unfold.
Well - I do feel it strange because she lives alone in ZA & Woolmer's both sons are living in London. She doesn't have much loves ones around her anyway - so it is strange.

Not to make light of this obviously grave situation...
But...
I am sure Shoaib Akhtar is thanking his lucky stars that he is not in West Indies right now. Had he been there, he'd be the prime suspect in this murder specualtion. Shakal se hi murderer lagta hai, with those bulging eyes. I think he was also alleged to have slapped Woolmer in India (a rumor that was naturally denied back then).

Just heard the press conference of the Jamacian police chief, he said that while they are treating his death as suspicious all the speculation is just that. No truth in them as yet and later on today they will issue another report.

A coroner from Florida is being brought in (or has already been brought in).
The pakistani team has been questioned and finger-printed. Each player has been questioned for upto an hour.

It's not philosophy, it's called medicine. Denial is a recognized stage of grief in medicine.
I think thats why his wife doesn't encourage the notion that there was any misplay, she just wants him to rest in peace and that his body be respected.
Do you even know what denial is?
Denial entails not beleiving in what happened. People in denial on death of a relative refuse to beleive that he/she is dead.
I just saw Gill Woolmer's interview and she said it is a possibility that he might have been murdered, she appeared to have a very clear mind and answered all questions calmly. She by no means appeared like a person in denial.

So if she’s not crying or wailing, you think she doesn’t care? I just think wrong to judge her feelings for her husband based on interviews she’s giving.
