Concept: dragon shape tree defines infrastructure making bodies that how they suck in to our peace loving nature and corrupt them with its darkness.
…and then there are scattered factors, which are consumed, manufactured (as paper made from trees) presenting dichotomy of several factors, which further try to engage our perception and cognition…it [everything we surrounded by] is a mess!

Re: Wood Print Making

nice, its the only work you've posted i actually like

Re: Wood Print Making

really nice. any other colors in which you painted a still life, like a vase with flowers?

thank you for your honest opinion, and i really mean it.

so what thing you disliked in my other work, and not in this one?

ps. i am really glad you said so, and may be i may get better in what my work next time.

Re: Wood Print Making

Beautiful piece of art, I must say...

Re: Wood Print Making

Nice Zobia. You are getting better by the day!

Re: Wood Print Making

Zobia, this goes with the color of all my other art on my walls. I NEED this piece. Please. Thank you.

Dushi api i did paint several still life compositions, but here u are mistaken, as it is not a painting :bummer:

its an old way of printing, where you carved in the wood, put the ink and then using a presser, press those marks on the paper.

ok chachi aik print app ka howa

not that any of your previous work was bad, but this one seems like it has part of you in the art. More concept over technique.

And i agree each time you will get better. I hope you keep posting more of your work.

Re: Wood Print Making

Zobo, it is very interesting technique and results are amazing. I have read about it in my basic art course, honestly one day I would love to see how it is actually carried out. I will also appreciate if you can describe the process little bit in detail. :cheegum:

lol. after exploring several past and present art practices i have come to the conclusion that there is more to the story :hinna:

yeah i also actually enjoyed wood, more than zinc. and definitely i gonna share more about this technique. :cheegum:

Re: Wood Print Making

and i would like to know it's dimensions ??

Re: Wood Print Making

Wow great work gobi, the colour combination is fab, how long did it take? have you got any more of this type?

shukeria

24" X 36"

thanX u for liking it.

shukera joain

it took me a week…as first i made the design…then i carved the wood…then print three layers…and each layer requires at least a day for drying (it depends how thin the layer of ink u put)

ps. it is one of those corrosive projects in which i also pass-out :frowning:
