Re: Wondering how the Prophet might have responded to the cartoons..
Sole guardians of Islam start making incorrect assumptions, draw wrong conclusions and make competly false attributions. Clealry they cannot make a educated reply or accept the fact that Islam preaches love, harmony, forgiveness and acceptance.
do u have any proofs to back your claims? No dont tell me about the Jewish lady who threw trash at the prophet, i wanna know about Non Muslims, who were not paying Jizya, ridiculing the Prophet or even Islam for that matter, and the Prophet advised the muslims to forgive and forget. and yeaa make sure the incident you quote is from the time after the Muslims were allowed to collect Jizya and wage Jihad.
Maybe u need to get out of your xenophobic world, motivated by hatred of others, unwilling to make changes or accept its own frailties. Somehow I get the feelin u have spend too much time with wahabi teachings which basically has no humanity, the basic ingredient to be a muslim.
Talking about love and peace does not mean weakness, yes it threatens those who have made their reason of existence based on hatred of others.
The Islam you're tryning to preach here is not the one Muhammad (sas) came with. He prohibited leaving Muslims lands and living with the unbelievers, being intimate with them, loving them even when they are killing you and ridiculing your religion.
I can show you the ahadeeth and Quran's verses if you want.
All those Arab countries denouncing these cartoons by calling back their ambassadors, where were they when Abu Ghrain pictures were published? Or why the silence on the Iraqi genocide? Selective morality has no meaning, its just a eyewash.
i agree with you on that one...
But not everyone has turned a blind eye to the Abu Ghraib pictures. There are muslims out there who are fighting fire with fire.
