Wonder how Intikhab Alam got a job as commentator

Re: Wonder how Intikhab Alam got a job as commentator

Since there are so many channels there is stiff competition for former crickets as experts or commentators. There seems to be a lot of good opportunities in the media these days in my view. PTV has those old commentators and experts for all the events. Where as the new channels try to get any one they can get their hands on.

How can Intikhab Alam became a commentator?

How many of our former cricketers do commentary?
How many of the former cricketers can speak English?
Of the ones who know good English how many want to do commentary?
(Takes out the likes of example Majid Khan, Imran Khan, etc)

Of the ones that are left, Ramiz and Wasim seem to be the best and they are both with international channels. Ramiz for TEN Sports and Wasim with ESPN. (He will be commentating on India South Africa Series)

Javed Miandad appears as an expert on HUM TV
Sikander Bakht is a regular sports anchor / expert for INDUS

Who is left?
Waqar I think is a bowling coach with a Australian side.
Aamir I guess is too controversial for most channels.
Moin Khan has been contracted by Geo Super.
Aaqib Javed. Heard him on Geo Super and he is not fluent enough for English commentary. Plus he said on air that he knows what he wants to be and he wants to be a coach.
Zaheer Abbass is also working as an expert with ESPN in SA
