I have always wondered why there isn’t a strict women’s only area that other women on gupshup can vote a girl into? Sometimes there are things that need to be discussed among women only. Like for example I’m pretty sure the bridal topic is not only viewed by women who generally care about clothing, makeup and fashiion. I’m pretty sure there are a lot of screwed up men that go there to drool over new brides. there should be a restriction on that thread.
The fashion forum is mainly girls talking to each other, maybe this should be a women’s only area. To prevent men from just making a new account and clicking female as their gender other members or mods need to vote a woman in to grant her access to certain areas or threads.
Recently I came across something that will horrify I think most pakistani women. At the same time I can’t warn them or put it out there without weird men catching on and adding to the problem that a certain website is creating for girls that are unaware that their pictures have been misused.
Other desi forums have had womens and men’s only areas with similar restrictions… it makes things a bit easier or so I would think.
Is this something that could be up for consideration? Or is there a mod that wants to PM the info to the ladies that they do converse with regularly and not fall for a new member that has enlisted and is really a guy that wants to go to this sick website?
