personally if the wife really wants a divorce and I was in her shoes I wouldn't really give a crap abt nikkah namma, I would go fatwa shopping, find the one that suited me and give the misbehaving husband the boot - to hell with doing the right thing esp. when you get the culturally challenged maulanas talking
