the other day i went through an article in the paper that said women’s gawahi in certain cases is considered full!!!

is that true??

If so let me know in what conditions it is?

i think the right way to put it, wud be "in a certain case, a woman's gawahi is not accepted as full"....

Agreed......

its only for business deals that it is advised to have to women so that if one of them forgets then the other could remind her. otherwise the women's gawahi is full. e.g. incase of a husband or wife accusing the other for adultery, both of them have to swear four times and not that the woman have to swear eight times.

I read a similar article in 'Jang Lahore' but it was in Urdu. It was about 13-14 days ago.
