Women's bid to have a bigger reprnt. in legislature will fail

Women constitute more then half of the global population, but no where in the world have they been accorded representation in legislatures in accordance with their numbers.

Even in the ‘most’ :rolleyes: ‘succesfull’ nations like the USA - only 13 per cent of the seats in legislatures are being occupied by them
The average of woman’s representation in legislatures in Europe is 17 per cent, in Asia 15.2 per cent, in India 10.3 per cent, in Pakistan 17 :jhanda: per cent and in the Arab world only 6 per cent

somehow, either due to male prejudice or maybe that enterprising women are not there in most of the countries, women’s presence in legislatures has been rather nominal. I have no doubt, it is virtually a man’s world on this round thing we call earth.

How many are black? Did you know that African Americans are 15 percent of the population but have only 3 senators. Racism is worse than sexism. I suggest we deal with getting minorities their proper representation instead of females, who have more than adequate representation compared to other minorities.
