When do you think its appropriate for your girls to start doing make-up?

ok, most people wont agree with me, but i think for girls, I dont see the big deal if they put some lip gloss starting from the age of 11. But for full makeup, like eye makeup, and foundation, and blush, I think 15 to 16 is good, but that should be on special occassions only, not every day. However, I know some girls, who had bad skin, and were embarassed by it, so their moms let them start wearing foundation from 13/14 so they wouldnt be embarassed, which I think is ok too. But a younger girl can also try kajol, which is not really makeup, but gives the look of it!

Yeah, I don't think a bit of lipgloss is a big deal for a girl of 11/12, most of the girls at my school did wear it sometimes at that age (but not really 'proper' makeup like foundation till 15/16-ish)..
I hate seeing really young girls in makeup but as they're getting to their teens I don't see any problem with a tiny bit..
