^True. But then again, we’ve all been fake from time to time (some more than others…without much awareness or regard). For example, thanking someone for a gift that you don’t like.

But doesn’t that also imply “degrees” of fakeness. If someone gifts me something I don’t like, what is the right thing to do: lie and say thank you - unkay dil rakhnay kay liyay or be rude and tell them it’s ugly? Doesn’t intent also play a part behind how we perceive another’s fakeness?
