Believe it or not, men should do all they can to keep themselves good looking for the ladies as well.
i.e.
Good hygeine
Good skin care - like, work on those blemishes, and go seek dermatologic help if you have raging acne as an adult...; get nasty moles removed if you can afford to; moisturize; face scrubs, etc
Weight management - yeah, ok, go to ANY desi dawat and just look at how many people are overweight - obesity epidemic is affecting Pakistanis too. Cut down on unnecessary sweets and excercise more
Hair: I still argue that a man who is at least TRIMMED, is more attractive than someone who is totally not controlling the hair on his body. You want to keep a beard? fine, trim it and keep it neat and nice smelling. You wax your body - even better. You wax your private areas, even better. You expect it from women too right? So what makes you think a hairy genital area is attractive to us? That sort of thing makes me gag.

No. You guys don't do the best you can. You don't even try.
But your expectations of women are over the top.
Generalizations, I know. There are some great guys out there. But based on demands I'm seeing and hearing about, its fairly ridiculous what people expect vs. what they are willing to offer.
