It bothers me when even parents who curse tell their children not to do it.
Why should cursing only be confined to men? Why is it seen as more acceptable when a man curses and less acceptable or crude or haraam when a woman does it???
Nami, the truth here is that a GAALI sounds bad no matter whose mouth it is hurled from (male, female, young, old, rich, or poor). A GALI is going to hurt and offend the recipient no matter if it comes from a male or a female.
The Prophet SAWS forbade cursing for everyone. So, why are we upholding or trying to justify the view that it’s okay for one group and not another. Are women immune to anger and rage? I don’t think so. It’s better for both genders to work upon this problem especially if its an oft-occurring one.
So, what is even the point to this thread, Nami??? Jo baat ghalat hai, woh SAB K LIYE ghalat hai.
