The first criteria to consider in such dealings is 'righteousness' according to Islamic teachings, then all the other things. Of we do that then such problems wont arise.

They're talking about a changing trend amongst women in that particular region. Too most of the ladies over here, way to miss the point of the article.

I'll tell you what women want - EVERYTHING!
But with regards to this report we want the right to work, but the choice to stay at home and be looked after financially.

if women or girls actually do the thinking and they have the authority of making their live's important decision of who to marry then they will always opt for someone who is sensible and caring.

All other factors equal (that's the important part there), then yes man with more money is always desirable.
