1.Apni Bay nazeeeeeeer ! Bhutto. She was one the most remarkable head of states who spend most of the time outside the state.
2.She also managed to pretty much bankcorrupt the country in speed time.
3.The only manner in which she enjoys living in Pakistan is when she is in power and then too refer to point 1!

Appreciate the fact that they took time to answer your question and noted who they think is a major role model, rather than demanding further details.

Details can be easily obtained by a simple websearch anyways.

oh and can you give your definition of modern? is it 1900 onwards? 1950 onwards? how do u define modern

Not at all asking to do my homework but the point of the thread for me is to find out the women role models AND their Contribution as per my initial thread. If one can list me a name of a role model then can s/he also indicate why they think she is the role model in their opinion?

I am looking for 1900 onwards.

PS: In regards to appreciating, I think I said thanks to all who posted their response.
PS: As for a simple search - Not so simple! massive or no specific information.
