Liberate, in what sense?
Islam liberates women. So, if anything, we should actually oppose what American women do.

Blindly believing that anything American has to be bad is just stupid. Like it or not, women in American society get a lot more opportunity and rights than women back home. Even desi women get more freedom in the US than their own home countries.

Why to compare with Americans? First of all A Father, Husband or a Brother should liberate themselve from treating their women (daugher, spouse or sister) as cattle and understand they all holds equal rights.

Mostly non-muslims, but there are many Muslims in the West (and in the Subcontinent, as well), who are just Muslims by name. They all act like non-Muslims.
