that seems to be the norm. i think they use long beautiful kalakola hair to impress husbands (well, men i guess), but then after they get married, it is too much of a hassle to manage them. so they cut them off..

After pregnancies many women tend to lose their hair enormously so they have two options: either shorten them and make them still look good or keep those tiny/thin ponytails or whatever which don't look very attractive...
When I why ask why do women shorten their hair as they age I am talking specifically about the women of Pakistani women who shorten them too much. And when I say short I mean like the women above have done. Extremely short...

how short is this short ure talking abt? i think it depends on the persons face shape, the problem with long hair is that its too long to control, gets in the way and it doesnt look as good tied up as it is open, might as well get a shorter cut where u look good and can leave it open all the time
yeah thats something i've noticed aswell, the old ladies shown on tv in pakistan tend to have a bob cut type hair cut (extremely short), i dont think it is jaiz in Islam?

I think Bushra has a certain length to her hair, or at least when I last saw her. But the length that I am talking is the kind Ms Ittiya Eniyat ullaha had. Hmm may be the shortet Bob cut possible. Hair is so short it can not be tied in. Apart from religious factors I think they do not look good. They do not look graceful to say the least
It's because shorter hair are easy to manage! Well .. .DUH!
A shaved head would be easier to handle, as well, plus ecnomic...
^^ Actually not. To keep up with a shaved head, you either need a* nayee *in your household or else it's like a trip to the barber every few days ... certainly not economical.

Matsui is asking the same question in General. Whatever catches your fancy, short, medium, long, none, and that should be left upto the person whose head is in question. Leave it to goddamn commentators to come up with stupid nitpicking about people's hair. Most who indulge in such nitpicking have nothing to show of themselves. In literature it is called my siht stinks more.
