coming from a different angle - it has been a man dominated world since day One. men have used and abused women as multiple wives, slaves, mistresses, etc. etc.

keeping it simple and short - **women today have become a commodity to men (yet again)

200 years ago world was very different for women but now with all these laws etc. that give so called independence to women - but the society has re-adjusted itself again to a man dominated world.
