lal masjid students and teachers were NOT terrorists at the time of the storming. i have no reason to believe they have taken to terrorism since and therefore they will remain innocent victims seeking justice

How do you know they were not terrorists? They were killing and kidnapping policemen & jihadi squads were terrorizing people of Islamabad. They were burning down govt buildings including the environmental ministry. Anyways, they were given enough time to get out of the compound & they refused. They got what they deserved. If you try to over throw govt in any country...this is what you will get. Anarchy and lawlessness cannot be tolerated...
I don't envision to be western like either, there can be middle grounds too. I don't like Saudi Arabia and I don't like Europe either both are at extremes in one way or the other.
If I have to pick (and I bet most people in Pakistan too) will pick Europe over Saudia? Have you ever wonder why?

One one hand this guy talks about Jihad as he was responsible for 9/11 and on the other hand this guy lives in Canada, goes to a Jewish University which has strong ties to Israel and spends most of his time on the Internet which his heroes the Taliban banned.

These 3,000 women are Jihadis for sure. May Allah give them a correct direction. The way things are, Jihadis are trying their best to turn Pakistan into Islamic Emirates of Somalia or worse Afghanistan.
Off course many Pakistanis sitting outside or inside Pakistan do not care about the well being of Pakistan. For them Pakistan was given to them as Bakhshish, thus they can throw this "free country" to dumps.
these guys want to live in caves, why they head for the cities? they should stay there and do whatever is acceptable to them why they forcing them to others? i dont think people from local area want to send the their girls there, they should move this maddrassah or fanatic teaching facility to where it will be much appreciated.
