Re: Women and their involvement in religious activities
Qur’an Khwanis take place here pretty much only when someone passes away and occasionally when people move into a new house. In terms of seeing attendance at these events, I don’t really see what goes on on the women’s side as in how many they are and all. But if there are such events, I know they are attended by both men and women.
Otherwise, sometimes women hold their own tafseer or dars programs, but for every one that I know of organized and run by women, there are several done by the men at the masajid.
