women and swearing

I never swear, never have done… but times, they are a changing and I have come across 6 and seven year olds and two pre school kiddies effing and blinding like troopers.
Should women swear? Do profanities from a women seem more offensive?, should children swear? How old should a child be if when they do?

Re: women and swearing

my kids think the word "hell" is a swear word!

i swear a lot, but swear words in english dont count (its true), its the punjabi ones you need to be careful of.

Re: women and swearing

Smut the truck up.

Kids should start swearing as soon as they are able to talk. The only reason swearing seems bad is because we make it taboo to swear in the open.

Re: women and swearing

My parents have never sworn and therefore we (me and my siblings)never came across any pashtu profanities.....when heard them , we didnt know what it meant so we broke them down into component words..... OMG

they are well....imaginative to say the least!

And Missy English words do count, wait till you have to banish a child to the corner for the whole day for say the most obscene things!

Re: women and swearing

Youa re all nucking futs

Re: women and swearing

aah shucks! We are trapped in such a male-dominating society that anything women do twitches in the eyes of a man.

A woman swearing looks more offensive because this is not what expected of us. Men, since the time began, have been doing the worst things so it's very much common for a man to swear and curse. We can't possibly expect them to do any better anyways.

Re: women and swearing

But of course its mens fault. I mean you women can't think for yourselves. You don't have brains and minds. Heck you women don't even have hands and feet. You can do anything. Poor you. Men are the root of all evil. That is why Satan is a man right?

Re: women and swearing

It’s considered a Taboo for a reason unless you don’t feel offended at all, which is very unrealistic.

Re: women and swearing

Of course dear CM. Satan was a man. You just made us sound like the most innocent living creatures. How sweet.

Re: women and swearing

Ok men/boys whatever you like to call yourselves, would you prefer you sisters/daughters to swear?

or would you prefer them not to.

and parents , upon hearing your kids swear...would you tell them off, ignore them, laugh?

Re: women and swearing

Lazy what do you mean sisters daughters??? My AmmaN can send a midshipman back to kindergarten. Don’t know about you guys, but cursing is part of our Punjabi culture.

Punjab Zindabad.

Re: women and swearing

it is not the rights of the parent or brother to decide for their sibling or daughter what she should say or do. She should do and say and act the same way as the brother and father would. otherwise you are looking for sancitoning from the male segment of the society,,you should tell them to fk off and establish common rules or interaction.

Re: women and swearing

I agree with the brother bit, but do parents have the responsibilty of their children swearing?
especially if they are young

Re: women and swearing

^ it applies to both children daisy...equality in sexes..that is the point

Re: women and swearing

Women swearing is a big turn off for me.

Re: women and swearing

are you gay?

Re: women and swearing

So is it for the ladies! .. Nothing is worse than going on a date with a guy who can’t finish a sentence withouth a curse word.
