"When asked if they would prefer a male or female boss, more women (28 percent) picked a male boss rather than a female boss (9 percent), while the majority of both men and women surveyed had no preference. More men would rather work for men than women; 26 percent of men chose a male boss and 8 percent picked a female boss."
Only 28% of all women said they like working for men. That is not even half the population. That is not saying anything.
From my personal experience though, I have found my male bosses to be a bit more level headed and easier to deal with than female bosses. Though, that does not mean women can't be level-headed (Duh!).

After dealing with my female chief, way too much maintenance to keep her in a happy mood. Definitely a male boss.
Unless she is a cougar who wants to have her way with me. Then definitely a female boss!
Male bosses, they are so much easier to work with! I’m not exchanging my Sheikh with anyone!

I've had female bosses who were good and I've had ones that are bad.
I think women feel like they need to overcompensate in their leadership skills because of their gender, since they feel like they wont be respected, and it turns them into B's.
Best female boss is the one who manages her crew like a mom manages her kids. Gentle, nurturing, guiding, but willing to put someone in line when they need it for their own good.
Not the half-drunk party ho, who rolls into work, and demands you do her work, so she can sit at her desk and text message her cocaine dealer.
Or the stereotypical well-manicured, spends 500 bucks on her hair and 100 on make-up, and has the latest gucci cologne in the sharpest suit and looks like she will kill you with one look. Ridiculous what women do to make themselves respected.

American bosses are the best to work with.
Their work culture is soooooooo different (to us in the UK)... Very laid back!

I had good female bosses. We had a social and a business relationship.
I have nothing in common with my male boss. It's hard to relate to him.

I worked in a solicitors firm,and my boss was such a BIOOOTTCHHHHH. there were two other female solicitors there, one was a trainee and the other was qualified, and they were soo horrible to the trainee If the trainee one gave me a job to do, the others would have a go at me for doing her task first and not thiers. one of them even called me stuupid once, i left and i even told them that you people have been horrible to me and treated me like poo. Just because you have a degree and are in a high paying job doesnt make you any better then me..
