really? H&M items are that bad in quality? I always thought that they have really good quality stuff for good prices. I’ve bought a couple of blazers from there which are still in good condition and they fit really well.

Women's fascination with labels is really bizarre. Just because you like the colors of BP gas station better than others, it doesn't mean they have better gas, similarly, a gas station selling gas for 3 cents more than the one across the street doesn't mean they have quality gasoline.

AJ im afraid these might be ladies from ur family so I won;t say anything. But really getting gas from a gas station cos u like the colour scheme…I am fortunate enough to have never known anyone with such a preference.

AJ, certain clothes are made better than others. Labels worn on the outside is crass. But one should not be chided for wearing higher quality stuff simply because it is more expensive. People have selective designers because they like the look and feel of the clothes they make.
For example, I would shoot my self in the head if I ever wore something from Versace. It is Eurotrash garbage. But a nice Jil Sander suit is simple sublime.

FF: Sorry to disappoint you but the example is very real. You can say whatever you want about her, she was a former co-worker who got a BMW as a gift, the day she graduated. Everyone hated her! I, along with a few others hitched a ride once to company lunch, just to get to sit in her new car and boy were we in for a ride. :D

Ppl who get BMWs as gifts are probably too rich to care about where they are really spending their money. Their priorities cannot be used to make generalisations.

pd baba, we all were very jealous. But more afraid that she might become our boss some day with all the 'connections' she had.
FF, I agree that was a gross generalization and hopefully not many women go with BP for it's colors.

FG I think its you not him. I got back most of mine and have forgiven the remainder :D Its rich ppl who are earning themself that may be stingy, their kids usually aren't but ofcourse not always.
AJ yes women do not go with BP for its colours even though it is a little tempting :p

I would think the blazers or jeans would be ok. But cotton t-shirts and sweaters are not built to last.
