Women saccrifice their career and education on demand of the susraal. All the time. What are your thoughts on that? Is it equally dispicable?

Cheegum, that's not troll-ish at all. How about you treat other members here with some respect when they're having a discussion? YOU need to grow up. Thanks.
Anyway, going back to the discussion, the reason I ask is because there are guys here who are saying thoo thoo to this behavior but are quick to criticize the idea that a woman should stand her ground when her husband/husband's family asks changes of career/education after marriage. So, is this a mutual issue or one-sided?
Being treated disrespectfully and inhumanely is wrong no matter what. So in your opinion PCG basically these men that I was talking about should just suck it up huh? Just cuz other women have to deal w/ it too. Maybe I should tell that to the women who have to 'sacrifice for their inlaws' - i should just reply to them when they complain that "so what I know men who have to go through this too, so stop crying, you're not the only one".
One more thing. As much as we like to believe in equality in men and women, it doesn't mean that they are the same and should be put up to the same standards. For example- girl forgets the guy's birthday, he may be disappointed, but cool with it. Guy forgets the girl's birthday- be prepared for some big time drama. this only brings the point that men and women's reactions to the same situation can be very different.
What i'm saying is that typically when a man loses his pride and ego, especially when it comes to his autonomy, he feels it much more than a woman. Just like how typically when a woman stops feeling cared for, she feels it much more than a man. Does it mean that either ever deserve to be in such a position? NO.
Just wondering: You get angry when men/inlaws mistreat women but why are you shrugging off and marginalizing the men who get mistreated by their wives? There really are some horrible women out there who get paired up with the quiet, soft-spoken men and take advantage of them, just like there are horrible men who take advantage of nice women.

Abuse isn’t funny, period. Nor is everything a gender war, and its NOT nice to see women hitting men for a change 
if you guys can grow up and learn to discuss things as adults, then by all means open more threads. thanks.
