This one word brings many images in your mind. It gives you an image of a magnificent creature that God has made. She serves as a daughter, a wife, and a mother. But on the other hand you can have other images too…well may be those that men have when they hear this word (not interested to know).
I often think why does God give this particular creature so much…harsh time throughout her life? Our society has always been and will always be “a men’s world”. After reading Sara’s thread about people not wanting baby girls I was so disgusted and I felt really sad. What has this creature done to anyone? Why is she regularly disrespected, tortured as a wife/daughter/or as just another woman walking by, raped, unwanted still by many, used by many husbands for only physical purposes whether its sex or beating her up??
Why is she expected to take care of so many when these “many” don’t take care of her? Why do parents expect her to keep their respect and prestige in society when they don’t respect her wishes (for shadi or other major stuff)? She obeys her parents for first few years as a daughter…makes sure she doesn’t let them down. Then she obeys her husband and gives him bachay while going through so much pain for keeping them inside her for 9 months and then giving birth which is the greatest pain of all! Still people think that oh it’s their job…it’s not a big deal. Why don’t they think about what she has to go through in her life and try to realize how great she is? All they see is her performing her duties.
Females have more diseases than men do. They go through more pain. In every second she gives birth to a child somewhere in this world with or without a husband or a spouse. She is neglected by many and accepted by many for different purposes. What exactly is a woman? A human? or just another creature that God has made to rot in this world?
we are both women.. we know all of this yet we survive.
isnt that our strenght, we as women survive through the worst and the best that this world has to offer.
unfortunatley we are looked down upon by alot of the men in this world.. and yet we are more respected by Allah.. are we not?

Take responsibility of the situation you are in. I have said it many times before and I shall say it again here. Major responsibility of the state of women in this world is because of other women, be it saas, bahu, sil, your boss, your school mate etc. Make an oath with yourself that you will not harm other women in anyway, emotionally or otherwise and try to change it from today.

no one can dominate you unless you allow urself to be dominated. Problem starts from the root of desi culture - but not all five fingers r the same. Woman can dominate much easier than man..just need to know how!

i’m not rotting anywhere, life is nice and i like it. Life has many hardhips, no matter if we are men or women.
some women like to walk over other womens feet…but i don’t give a damn about “girls talk”, and i am free from this…who needs b**tch advices?

women are just as powerfull as men with some guns so no need to feel dominated at all…
