Re: Woman to be Pakistan's Speaker of National Assembly
She made a very notable address to the press after her first assembly session, stating that she was keen to work with ALL institutions to move forward. Also, she seemd to giving some terse advice/warning to the media to by all means play their full role in questioning the wrongs of anyone, but to make sure that it was done in a "positive" light. Ch. Ahmed Mukhtar seemed to warining the media on Geo's Capital Talk the other week to be patient, and not give advice to the incoming govt to do this or that.
Mashallah. It is good to see that the recent statements from Great Zardari, and now form the first woman speaker of NA, Fahmida Mirza, are in-line with what President Musharaf has been saying.
