When that guy comes along that seems worth me giving up my single life, I’ll see. It has to be meant to be though. I haven’t come across a guy like that except one.
Marriage, where I will be with this person for the rest of my life, isn’t something I’ll rush into just because of that fear that
“All the good catches are getting snagged away”. I think the Almighty has chosen how our lives will be already and I’ll wait for that guy that I’m meant to be with.
One of my friends proposed to a guy herself, he never really loved or cared for her. Couldn’t give a flying fig about her. She was doing all the trying to make the marriage work, he didn’t feel he needed to so sometimes I feel like when a woman goes out of her way to make a guy hers, it can cause her even more pain later, in the future, within the marriage. She was more like a doormat and desperate to change herself to make the marriage work and for him. It did end in divorce. Not all relatonship where the woman made the first move are like this of course.
