Women are the more emotional beings. I’m saying the majority not all. Women tolerate such bs to keep a relationship intact, adultery, zilch love, abuse for love. Majority of women are less practical so we are more inclined to get hurt.

Then it’s wise to be less emotionally attached esp in the beginning when he hasn’t earned your trust or invested anything. Don’t give him things he hasn’t worked nor expect anything. Let him show you who he is. It’s important to stay firm in your values. People (men and women) will get away with things you let them get away with.

Weird but I called him and he was busy with his parents’ visiting(they don’t live in the States)so didn’t get to call me. We talked for 2 hours. He seems really interested because he keeps texting me but, I’m not rushing so we’ll see. I’m the super cautious type, don’t really fall for the lovey dovey stuff.

I guess it doesn’t matter who makes the first move, it’s the actions and what we say after making that move that matter. I’m keeping my options open and not rushing in at all. Thanks for the responses. They really helped.
