^ I imagine one of those impassioned moments where a man accuses a woman of infidelity or some other moral crime or a woman insults a man’s parents - I would call these fighting words and question is it always possible to remove yourself from the situation and not give in to an impassioned physical reaction?

I’d like to think I would walk away - but for the people who don’t and their knee-jerk reaction is physical - wouldn’t there be more tolerance and the justification that the other person drove them to it?

Yeah, i agree that each individual has a different level of aggression but to me, those who have a higher level of it should just exercise a higher level of restraint.

I just don’t think there is a justification for a grown adult to not exhibit self control i guess.
